So I've been thinking and wondering this summer "How can I make extra cash?" I did the good ol' money making event of having three yard sales with the help of my younger sister and my mom, and made a good profit, but I knew that there were other ways to make exrta cash. Before even considering holding yard sale for extra money, I had searched online for information and discovered some interesting info that I would like to share with you all.

I found out that there is a website named Moola.com, which is a place where you can get free money by just playing their games and searching through their search engine. Knowing me, I quickly tried to find if this was a legit site, and after reading several trustworthy reviews I was amazed that it truly was not another one of those scamming websites that are around the net. Though, I did hesitate when reading the registration form since it was my first time actually participating in this type online gaming website. But after becoming a member and winning my first few games along with a few cents I . I had received a free penny! Lol This sounds pretty silly but as I continued through the website playing their games and using their engine I was winning 5 cents to 25 cents.

Though, there is a small catch. When you do play their games you are given a choice to play for one penny or more then the winnings are doubled . For instance, if you were to bet four cents on the game then your winnings woud be 8 cents and so on, but that's only if you win. If you lose, then you lose your bet money. Luckily, there is an account where you save your money but once you transfer those monies you can't use them to help double your winnings. You can only take them out once you are ready use them as real cash. Now if you used up all your game money, Moola gives you a penny to help you begin playing again. As for using the search engine, you can win money only if you search normally. That is if you just search for random stuff that you usually don't search for in search engine like google, or search like crazy hoping to find that "Congratulations, you have won..." sign then you are not going to win any money at all. Just search like you would normally search in google and you chances of winning 1 to 50 cents or even more would increase.

You can even increase you winnings by sending an invitation to your family and friends(Only if they become a member themselves). I currently have 98 invitations to give and I am willing to give them to those who are interested in participating in this website. I referred my sister and as soon as she became a member and started searching through their engine, she won 4o cents! She was one of the lucky ones. There are many other ways of gettting money through Moola.com, such as the Moola Booster Spin, buying products through sites that award Moola, and more. You just need to view the site's forum page find out.

And one more thing I really need to mention about this site. This site is best if you just play for a bit every other day. It's not one of those sites where you win big cash instantly, but in time you will eventually win up to $5 then $12 and so on. You need patience. As as right know I have played three days and have around $4.56. If you're interested in becoming a member I can give you one of my invites. Just ask on this comment section.

I also found an interesting website that is similar to Moola.com, but instead of playing for money you play for points or tickets. Once you win a certain amount of tickets you can trade them in for prizes. For instance, if you have a little over 100 tickets then you can get prizes such as ring tones or songs, if you collect even further you can get an XBOX 360 Videogame, and if you collect up to 55,000 tickets you can get an XBOX 360 System! Ihat's pretty amazing if you're a gamer. Of course, there are other prizes you can trade in your tickets for. You get tickets by playing their games. I prefer the games Chicktionary, Discover the World, and Banana Shuffle. I can get quick tickets with those games. The website is named clubBing.com.

Right now, I am actually beginning to my first online auction at Ebay. It is a PC game lot of 5 with expansions and I'm hoping to profit around $10 +. Below are the pictures of those pc games.

I would have never thought that leashes for guinea pigs existed, especially for hamsters.You can easily find these leashes for sell at Ebay *What a surprise* It's pretty bizarre to see a person walking their pet hamster, yet is pretty darn cute.

I puppy crying like a baby? Yup. Is this puppy papillon thirsty? "agua, agua..", or making a desperate call to get out of his pen "I want, I want OUT", wait wait this puppy is calling me by name! "Ewwick, Eric, I want out! Well, that's what my mom and sister think. Pretty weird huh.

I've been wanting to sell my PlayStation 2 games for quite some time now. So, I made a list of my ps2 game library and was surprised to find out how many I have. Now that I bought a next generation gaming system, the PlayStation 3, I need to sell some of my old games! It gets pretty expensive when it comes to entertainment, so I've found many ways to save me some cash.

Don't Trade in you're games to you're local game store ( You don't really get that much in return)
You usually, get more profit by selling games online. You just need to find the right online shopping service that can help you sell you're stuff (I'm currently using Amazon and Ebay)
Buying games online saves you money.
Keep you're games in good condition. The better the quality the more likely the shopper will buy your games at a higher price.
When selling your game, make it clear what you're selling. (For example: Game is in good condition, with book manual and game case, etc...)
To help you save money try looking for online promotional/coupon codes. Doing this helped me save over $80 dollars + free shipping when buying the PS3 console ( I use Retail Me Not, The Bargainist, Only Coupons, Promotional Codes, and My Coupons)
And of course, know your limits. If you can't afford it, then you should restrain from buying it. (Duh)
Be patient (Maybe, after a couple of weeks or so a sale might go on or the price gets reduced)

These are just the basic principles. It's my way of saving money when it comes to selling/buying stuff. If you don't want to sell you're games, just give them to some one you know. Give the games to a friend, cousin, nephew, niece who can play them. Make sure it's something that they will like and don't give it to them as a Birthday gift or Christmas present! (In my opinion, that's inappropriate) Unless you have a very good reason to...

These are just ps2 games...I still have PC, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Gameboy (Pocket & SP), Nintendo DS games, and even that Atari 2600 that my brother and sister left me. Yeah, I'm a gamer.

Enjoying Spring Break

I'm back at my hometown for the spring break and enjoying the days with my family. Though, it's going to be a bit dull this coming week, since my sister and mom are going back to school.

I'm hoping that it will not rain today, so that we can transplant the yellow hibiscus and the marigolds my parents bought yesterday, Saturday. They've done a great change to the backyard. The pine tree, well it's some sort of an evergreen tree, was finally transplanted in the backyard. This backyard had its ups and downs throughout the years, but this year that fluctuation is coming to a halt. It's weed free and better than before. All it needs is a little more caring along with helping the new plants to adapt to these new grounds and it's bound to be a beautiful backyard. I really believe that we should do more family home projects...I enjoy them. Knowing that my family and I are having fun together, whether it be playing a game of blokus, scrabble, or transforming a bedroom into an entertainment room, really brings out the true family spirit.

My mom and sister had their break this week and mine is just starting...well at least I'm back at home knowing that "i miei genetori e la mia sorellina" are doing fine.

I also wanted to post these interesting videos I found about Italian gestures. I'm taking ITL 506 at UT Austin and wanted to use a different type of learning resource, so I decided to view some Italian videos.

When I viewed this video I was surprised to know that it was a UT Austin study abroad program video.

The day before UT classes began, I went to a Wal-Mart nearby my apartment with my friends to buy groceries and such for the week. As I was strolling to an fro the isles, I decided to take a quick stop at the electronic department to see what new video games were released. As I went by the PC games section, a particular game caught me attention. I picked it up and read its title in great curiosity, "The World of Goo". It seemed quite an odd title, which lured me to read even further. I opened its tri-fold-like cover to find out what this world of goo is all about. As soon I saw the game play pictures and read through its captions briefly, I new it was some type of puzzle game, and knowing me, I'm a sucker for puzzle games (Not to mention rpgs and fighting games as well). It was not my intention to buy a video game on my trip to Wal-Mart but for $14.88 plus tax and being a puzzle game it seemed to be a pretty good bargain to me. Nowadays to find a decent game may cost from $20 to $60 plus dollars and with the economy going on as of right now it's best to be smart with your money. Anyways I needed to have some sort of free time from my studies.
So as you may have guessed, I bought this game and to be honest I am glad I did. This game is a puzzle with a physics engine in the mix. It's quite addicting and really fun to see what you can do with the blobs of goo. Love the look of the game, the gameplay is really simple, and the music blends in well. All in all it is a musts for puzzle fanatics and those who want to try something ingenious and refreshing.

Semi-Finalist

I just found out today that my art work titled Simple Adversity, an isometric pixel art, made it through the first round. At first I thought the person who congratulated me for making it to the semifinals was a mistake because I thought that the semifinalists would be announced sometime around or about January 25 and replied that the semifinalists has not been announced yet. Later on a deviant artist from the deviant art community commented that the actual winners would but announced sometime during the January 25 and that the semifinalists have already been chosen. After reading that, I was amazed and yet glad to know that my artwork was selected to go to the semifinals especially knowing that this was my first time actually participating in an art contest through the internet (The Deviant Art Community). This is my second art contest that I have participated in. My first was at Southwest Texas Junior College. The 26th SWTJC Creative Arts Contest, a contest where people from all of south-southwest texas can participate, was my first contest of arts that I had participated. I participated in the visual arts - photography and surprisingly won first place. I am glad to know that I have a talent that I can utilize to express myself.

I have entered a art contest, Speak Visually, at deviant art and was very pleased to discover that I have a new way of expressing my self through art. Now as for the other projects, they are still in progress. I'm going to add some more action poses for the brother hamster and then the actual text with a little bit of visual fx. As for the other project, the fanicomic project, it seems to me that it will have to wait a little while longer until I can figure out what other ideas I can put into the video.

So I've been messing around with programs Sony Vegas 6 and Photoshop and have come up with with two projects.
One is somewhat a parody over the music video of Evanescence - Bring Me To Life
The other is A "Fanicomic" of the PS2 Game titled Capcom Vs. SNK 2
I'm still working on both but about finish with the Music Parody
Hopefully if everything goes according to plan, I will post them on YouTube and my Blog to share.

Another Blog

I've been wanting to start up a blog since quite some time now. I created one at modblog but somehow the site disappeared and now a body modification has taken over the domain name... lost all my blog posts, pictures, art etc... backups are a must from now on if I post any works of mine on the net. So, what I've been wanting to do is blog on all my personal projects that I have been doing through the years and in the near future. Hope this Blog wont disappear on me like the last one.
